New venture capital fund enters CEE market. Level2 Ventures will invest over 30 million EUR of private capital in startups. Level2 will ensure portfolio companies with a wide range of business and operational support in a complete environment formula, thanks to a dedicated development program - Development4Startups Program and cooperation with industry experts. The fund's strategy assumes reinvestment of the capital raised from exits, which should allow to become the largest venture fund in the CEE region within the next seven years.

Level2 Ventures will invest more than 30 million EUR in technology startups and solutions from AI, Blockchain, autonomous solutions, process automation and RES branches, at Seed and Round A stages. The fund intends to allocate between 250 thousand EUR and 1. 5 million EUR per investment. Simultaneously, Level2 will pursue three paths of activities within the Development4Startups Program: creating an environment to support portfolio startups, developing managerial competencies of Founders and structuring the VC process.

At Level2 Ventures, we believe that capital is only the first level of support. What is the real value is the business and operational experience of building and scaling a business, which we, as experienced CEOs, want to share with. We believe that only a combination of capital and strong business support implemented in the formula of true partnership cooperation between a fund and a startup allows to increase the chance of achieving global success says Adam Rudowski, founder and General Partner of Level2 Ventures.

The fund's capital is entirely private, coming from the founders and several Limited Partners, as it allows a flexible approach both in terms of selecting investment targets and managing the fund's portfolio.

We are committed to increase significantly the probability of success not only at the startup selection stage, but especially at the stage of building value and scaling the businesses. That's why we developed D4S, the Development 4Startups Program. It ensures both the development of Founders' competencies and elements of support for the company in the areas of management, marketing, sales, HR and operations" - explains Piotr Pawłowski, General Partner of Level2 Ventures.

We want the CEE region, and Poland in particular, to be associated with innovation and modern technology. Compared to the startup market in Western Europe, we still have a lot of catching up to do. We believe that the Level2 Ventures formula, based on the non-standard approach and partnership cooperation with Founders, will help to achieve this goal Adam Rudowski concludes.

The fund's founders and General Partners are experienced ICT industry executives. Adam Rudowski is the founder and long-time CEO of Veracomp S. A., the largest VAD distributor in Central and Eastern Europe, who sold the company to Exclusive Networks in 2020. Piotr Pawłowski has been associated with companies from ICT sector for 30 years (including AB S. A. , Comarch S. A. and GTS Poland). As a CEO of 3S Group, he led the company from a small regional telco and data center operator to the position of a ICT solutions nationwide leader. He was also responsible for the process of sale and incorporation of 3S assets to the Play Group structures.
