Marek Szmigiel becomes the new CEO of RevDeBug

The former CEO and startup co-founder, Tomasz Kruszewski, became a supervisory board member. The changes are to accelerate acquiring new customers and entering the US market. - But most of all, we want our solution to become a global standard in the software error repair process - says Marek Szmigiel, the new CEO of RevDeBug.

- Strategic changes in the RevDeBug management board will allow quick, international commercialization of one of the most interesting programming solutions in the world. This tool is a salvation for the rapidly changing software production, testing, and maintenance industry in the era of growing demand for programmers. I am convinced that RevDeBug has a chance to become a Polish unicorn and achieve a valuation of $ 1 billion. - says Marcin Rosati, chairman of the supervisory board of RevDeBug, former CEO of Media Markt Polska, and managing director of InPost.

Expansion, development, and subsequent changes

RevDeBug in the upcoming months will focus on selling its solution to banks, insurance companies, and large retail chains. The goal is also to accelerate customer acquisition in the US and UK markets.

- I am fully convinced that the decisions regarding organizational changes will allow us to develop dynamically on the international market. I am sure that RevDeBug will achieve success and is a contender for another unicorn from Poland - says Tomasz Kruszewski, RevDeBug co-founder and a new member of the supervisory board. And he adds: - I will still be in charge of the strategy, development, and condition of the company, and I entrust operational matters to excellent experts.

Marek Szmigiel, a new CEO of RevDeBug, has been involved in modern technologies and telecommunications for several years. He played key roles related to business development. As the director of domestic sales in GTS Poland (now T-Mobile), he managed most of the operator's market activities. As a Vector Solutions sales director, he was responsible for commercial activities, including opening new markets and reorganizing sales.

- I am glad that I am starting a business adventure in one of the most interesting new software ventures. Our main goal is to discover for clients in the United States and Europe our breakthrough tool that effectively speeds up the process of fixing software errors, reduces costs, and improves the efficiency of IT departments and - entire organizations - comments Marek Szmigiel.

A solid foundation

RevDeBug also has a new vice president and a new sales director. In both positions, the company's development will be supported by experienced specialists - Łukasz Kędziora and Călin Mureşan.

Łukasz Kędziora has been associated with the financial sector for many years. He worked, among others, at BGŻ bank, he was the financial director of the ATSS.A. and the PBH capital group, as well as the president of many subsidiaries in these groups. He was also the president of the board of Pro Agro, a company providing financial management services. Over the past few years, he has carried out and implemented over a dozen investment projects with a total value of over PLN 65 million.

Călin Mureşan became the sales director. For the last four years, he was responsible for the sales department development of Netguru - one of the largest Polish software houses, dealing with software development for leading companies on Polish and foreign markets. He expanded the team from three to 30 people, and the company's turnover during that time increased sixfold to over $ 50 million a year. Netguru was twice recognized by the Financial Times as the fastest-growing company in Europe.

- I am glad that I have a chance to join a promising company and be responsible for the foreign market's expansion. My - and my team's - goal is to make RevDeBug the new standard in most large companies - says Călin Mureşan.
